Gas Sentinel Minder

The Sentinel Gas Minder ventilation interlock system has been designed for use in commercial kitchens to meet BS6173:2001. This panel is to be used when the kitchen appliances have flame failure devices so gas proving is not a requirement. Sentinel gas minder acts as an interlock between the ventilation system (supply and extract) and the gas solenoid valve. It ensures the gas valve cannot be opened until the ventilation system is proven to be operationg. The fans are monitored using an air pressure switch or paddle switch. When the fan is not operating fan "off light" will be illuminated and power to the gas valve will be interrupted, when the fans are operating the "fan off" light will go out and power will be applied to the gas solenoid valve. On failure of ventilation system the "unit fail" will be illuminated and the gas valve will close.
